so i have been super duper busy. work sucks and my creativity is drained. but the new series i started makes me glad i utilized the creativity i had to create such a fabulous idea. this series was difficult for me to start as i have no real astrology experience. so i had to fet the aid of my friend Andrea and Amanda. (the astrology nuts) oh well...

yes, it is wednesday. that means it is not only hump day but it is the day after new music day! and this week was a wonderful day for downloading new tunes. the quickest decision i made to download music was my decision to download the new All Time Low cd. i was dissappointed with their last album, but loved their first. so that makes them a fifty fifty chance in my eyes. well i may have taken a risk with my iTunes but it paid off because i am in love with this album. especially the song that i titled this blog after. a MUST DOWNLOAD!

i also downloaded the new Paramore track, "Ignorance." this is classic Paramore. leave the Decode at the door with this single. although it isn't my favorite song by this band it is quite catchy and pretty awesome in its own right. this is a breath of edgey air for this band considering their emo-ness of their last hit single. this song throws beck to their first album and brings the roots of the band back!

as for new art from moi... i have just finished my lates threesome for a classic gotham girl dynamic duo. here are all the pieces cut back to back. let me know what you think...

Sweet Dreams Are Not Made of These...

worst nightmare.

i awoke from a deep slumber, in a cruel andterrible way. the reason for this is the dream that shoke me to the core. the worst dream i think i have ever had. a monumental nightmare that can only be described as my own personal terror. this dream played on my worst fears and made them so real that i felt my body burning in the firey heat. that i heard the screams of the passengers around me. that i felt the g-force as the plane crashed to the ground. if you could not tell my nightmare was a dream that all too well could become a reality.

the dream began with my boarding a United Airlines flight to Iowa. i have no idea what would drive me to want to go to Iowa but that is where i was going. i was on a medium sized plane not a 757 or a 777 but more like a 737. large enough to make me feel safe but small enough to handle to load that goes to Iowa. i sat in my aisle seat reading my new book. we sped off the runway and gained momentum to take off. we reached a certain altitude and the plane's engines exploded. we were sent careming out of control towards the earth. this felt so real. i felt my gut slide up my spine. that feeling you get on roller coasters only amplifiy it 3 times! i said a prayer and was determined to die happy. i said thank you for the life i was given and the life i have lived. i prayed for my family and friends not to mourn me but to live everyday for me. i prayed that my death be a swift one and seconds after i said amen the plane crashed. flames bellowed around me. i felt the searing heat and fire consume my body and heard the screams of my fellow passengers. i had to force myself to wake up. i had to tell myself that this was a dream and that i had to wake up. for they say if you die in your dreams you are surely not going to wake up. that is when i woke up and wept.

i cried for one of my worst terrors in turbulance and flying. i get sick to my stomach sometimes thinking about it.

financial meltdown.

hello readers. it appears that another payday has come and gone and my bank account is left barren and empty. i always manage to be the brokest on the mid month payday versus the first of the monther. probably due to the fact that i have all of my bills mid month and so i spend it all very quickly. **sigh**

so i have decided to sell some of my artwork. i have many painted pieces on canvas as well as hand drawn artwork that i am willing to sell for a decent price. once i have collected my thoughts on which painted and drawn pieces i am willing to sell i will keep you posted. if you are interested comment me below and i will get with you on what pieces i want to sell.

i also just purchased 3 8x8 canvases and 2 16x20 canvases that i am willing to sell a commission for if you like. these are blank and i would be willing to paint whatever you wished on it. the 8x8 ones i will sell for $45 including shipping and the 16x20's for $80 including shipping.

artistic mimicry.

this weekend i found myself being especially creative. although i did not work on the 2 comics i have on my plate, or the book i am in the middle of writing, or the star trek comic i have been meaning to do for a contest, or the "commission mission" i have to do for my friends... but i did paint a few paintings and did a few homework assignments for my drawing 1101 class. i also came up with more crafts to do. i am wanting to develop a specific style that i can use to create a following and hopefully sell pieces of art and merchandise like my muse Miss Kika. her artwork is.... how shall i say this... a"muse"ing. so amusing that i painted an acrylic painting on canvas for my sister as a gift in Miss Kika's style. they say that mimicry is the best form of flattery. so hope she is quite flattered. my sister loves the piece and if you wish to see it here is my art gallery...

Buzzard Droppings... Ewwe, it pooed on me!

comic genius.

well, as usual i have a million new ideas for stories and such. today is no exception. i have decided to start a new comic for my shop at work. i started drawing one for the uss mount whitney while i was stationed there. that one was called, "6th Fleet Under." the premise was that the NAVMACS terminal exploded and turned all of COMMS department into cartoon characters. kinda like drawn together. it was pretty awesome...

well, i just reported to the old buzzards (a squadron) and decided to try and repeat the idea i wanted to start at the mt whitney. i have experience drawing comic books. i drew for robo's comic he wrote called "Insights: Zeroes." this will be my first solo writing experience for a comic though but i am super excited to do this. the title of this new comic is going to be "Buzzard Droppings." i am drawing the characters right now of course being based on my coworkers. the story is a collab between jeremy and i. so far we have developed the characters as follows...

CO - he's going to be like the claw (from inspector gadget). you never see his face. he is always sitting in his office at his desk chair with a buzzard on his arm. ;O)

XO - he's the CO's henchman. does all of the CO's evil bidding. since he is quite attractive we decided that his super power needs to have something to do with that. either his gaze mesmerizes you into becoming the henchman's henchman or his gaze turns you into stone. still developing that character...

Kevin Farmer - aka... (still creating this character)

Jeremy Randolf - aka... The Ultimate Farting Champion. he wheres the ufc belt and it renders the wearer unlimited mma fighting abilities. his super power is the same as his twin Dave... their farts are a toxic fume that the render the victim unconscious. (which truth be told is not too far from actuality.) the two of them combined are the twins notoriously known as the fantastic farters.

Dave Watkins - aka... Rebel Farter. dave wears a rebel fighter emblem as a belt buckle that gives the wearer the full range of abilities of a jedi master. he can manipulate the force and uses a light saber. couple that with his farting abilities and he is one deadly assassin.

Charles Taylor - aka... Big Mouth. he is going to be dressed like a pimp. this pimp will have a huge gold chain with a pair of gold & diamond encrusted titties dangling from it. he holds the unique power of the titties which when used properly can deflect the super powers of the xo.

Jennifer Brown - aka... (still creating this character)

Aaron Croxton - aka... Dr. Congeniality. don't underestimate this hero. his incredible intellect and kind nature make the villain's underestimate him. his power is the ability to do anything at incredible speeds. he processes information incredibly fast, adapts to situations incredibly fast, and of course runs at incredible speeds.

Charlie McPherson - aka... Boy Wonder. this kid is a genius. he may be 17 but his wealth of knowledge is incredibly important to the team. he can hack into anything and everything. he can upgrade & over clock any computer. due to his age he is often left at base for missions...

Meanie Porter - aka... Loud Mouth. not to be confused with big mouth, her abilities can rupture ear drums. her voice when yelling or screaming makes her victims cringe in fear and collapse in agony because their ears are bleeding. although her power is quite potent she is always late to the scene and is hardly ever used.

Richard Gogal - aka... Dick. mr. gogal is like charlie from charlie's angels. you never see him... but he barks orders left and right to the team. the team refer to him as the omniscient being that knows the co & xo's every move. maybe it has something to do with officer telepathy?? we may never know....

you thought i was going to post the storyline here didn't you? hahhahahaha, you'll just have to wait for issue number one! ;O) i will update once jer and i figure out kevin and jenn's characters.

so i have decided that i want to be a concept artist for Blizzard Entertainment or Cryptic Studios. either would make an awesome companies to work for... the only obstacle i face is the lack of experience in the field. according to multiple sources as will as job qualification standards for both companies require at least 2 game titles shipped. where am i going to get that kind of game design experience? so before i finish my degree i am going to do some serious job searching.

oh well in preperation for that i have been trying to keep my drawing skills up. I have been drawing famous people trying to master the concepts of light and shadows over a subject. I believe that the evolution of my skills are quite evident. check it out...

ear ache.

it's a beautiful day outside. perfect for tanning, running, or anything...except that i feel like utter crap. yep, saw the corpsman today and it appears that i have an ear infection. i've got a bunch of random drops to put in my ears. wierdest feeling ever, as it oozes down the canal. **shivers** needless to say it's a crappy feeling. really takes the energy out of me, but that means i can focus my attention on my craft.

"what is this craft that you speak of?" you may be asking yourself... well its drawing of course. i am a first year game art and design major over at the art institute of pittsburgh, pa. and not to toot my own loud and sometimes obnoxious horn... i am the best in the class. now i don't mean that in that egotistical falsehood that sometimes is attributed with artists of all kinds. but... it is a fact. if you have seen some of the artwork that my fellow "artists" pass off as drawings you might understand what i am saying. i clearly have much more experience in the realm of drawing and shading. here is the assignment i just recently posted for an assignment for a still life...

see, was i lying? nope. i would post some of the submissions from the other artists but i do not have thier permission nor do i wish to aquire it just to compare the level of ability on my blog. so you are just going to trust me. :O) so today's assignment is to draw a portair from a photo. i am thinking about drawing a famous person but am trying to figure out who... any suggestions?

so i have been researching the procurment of my halloween costume for this year and to your surprise it is not going to be from Star Trek. as much as i would have loved to be an officer of starfleet i decided to go with the awesome rogue from xmen. of all the female characters from the book kitty and rogue were my faves! So I decided to attempt a rogue costume this year as she is not at all popular in this moment so the likelihood of anyone else wearing her costume is slim to none.

you are probably asking yourself, why are you even thinking about this in june? well, i am going to be deployed in september and will be back (hopefully) sometime before halloween. that doesn't allow me nearly enough time to create an accurate, awesome, and unique costume. so the earlier the better. luckily i have found a seller on ebay who is selling a spandex costume for cheap tailored to my body type. i will be in the best shape of my life as my wedding is two weeks later so when else should i not wear a lycra catsuit for halloween. granted no boobage is in this costume, but i think it will still be super sexy. not to mention rogue is my fiances favorite xmen.

so i am thinking of hosting a halloween party at my appartment. i am still thinking of a theme and title for the event. but i am thinking that it needs to be adult only with a variety of alcoholic beverages and different games to do. who knows what this event will entail but i believe that it will be a night of total awesomeness. now to find a brunette wig, white hair extensions, a brown cropped jacket, and some sweet accessories. wish me luck... hopefully i don't change my mind and decide to be something lacking in greatness.

wow, you probably wonder why that is the title of my first blog. well i am... more like was... on the phone with my sister and best friend in the whole world. she's taking biology this semester and decided that she wanted to get really good grades in this course. so she told me how she was asking my father about the different components of an atom. she even said, "what the fuck are nuetrons?" that made me burst into an infectious laughter that spread across the whole of space and beamed back down to her cell phone. it is moments like those that make me appreciate her even more.

she and i have a bond that i know nothing can break. even if the viel of death covered over one of us i am pretty sure that our love would transend the underworld and still blanket the world in laughter and love. not at first of course... grieving is always difficult but after that i know the hilarity would ensue. thats what we are... hilarious. to each other at least.

i am taking a break from working on my novel right now. it is a young adult fiction piece that i hope to be as popular as Twilight or Harry Potter. i know you must think me juvinile for writing in that genre, but in all honesty i am not persuing a degree in english literature and i know absolutly nothing about wring a book but i have amazing ideas. i have written so many stories in my head that i never put onto paper. this time though... it will be different. it is not about vampires or wizards... but of sea godesses and mermen. so far i have written 39 pages and am quite happy with it. although the writing style is from first person which traditionally is very poor writing for an author, but i believe that youth seem to identify with the main character when the story is told from thier perspective. wish me luck, cause i have no idea what i am writing.
